In these mixers, magnetic couplings transfer torque from the drive to the impeller using a magnetic field, eliminating the need for physical contact.
Since the impeller is not directly connected to the drive, conventional sealing is unnecessary. This results in virtually no mechanical wear, allowing magnetic mixers to achieve significantly longer service life when properly designed and operated under the right conditions.
The PerMix Magnetic Mixer head can be configured with various mixing elements, including propellers and Rushton turbines, to suit different applications. These mixers are especially well-suited for biotechnology and fermentation—fields that demand the highest levels of hygiene and precision.

Installation & Set Up
The PM series Magnetic Mixer is specifically designed for bottom mounting onto the mixing vessel. Installation begins with welding a dedicated plate to the bottom of the tank. The impeller is then mounted from the inside (top side) of the vessel, while the magnetic drive unit is secured from underneath using bolts or a clamping system.
